Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-20
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It also explains how we handle your control-loop inputs and generated outputs.
Who is responsible for your data
FASKIN CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING LTD(“Loopdraft”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through faskinconvtrol.shop. We are registered in Scotland, United Kingdom, at 8 Irvine Place, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, AB51 4ZZ, United Kingdom.
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@faskinconvtrol.shop or +44 7388491941.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the service:
- Account & contact data — name, email address and organisation when you sign up, subscribe or contact us.
- Subscription & billing data — plan, billing status and billing address. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we never receive or store full card numbers.
- Your tool inputs — the control-loop descriptions, tags, signal lists and interlocks you enter to generate documentation.
- Generated outputs — the documents and diagram selections produced from your inputs.
- Support data — messages and enquiries you send through our forms, email or phone.
- Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser type and essential logs needed for security and reliability.
Collection sources
We collect personal data from the following sources:
- Directly from you — when you create an account, use the studio, enter loop descriptions, tags and interlocks, subscribe, or contact us through a form, email or phone.
- Automatically from your device — through essential server logs, security signals and cookies when you use the site (for example IP address, browser type and session identifiers).
- From our payment processor — Stripe returns limited billing metadata (such as billing country, subscription status and a payment confirmation) after you pay; we never receive your full card number.
- From your organisation — where a colleague adds you to a shared team folder or submits an enquiry on your behalf.
We do not buy personal data from data brokers or third-party lists.
Why we use it and our legal bases
- To provide the service (generate documents and diagrams, deliver exports) — performance of a contract.
- To take payment and manage subscriptions — performance of a contract.
- To respond to support and enquiries — legitimate interests and, where applicable, contract.
- To secure and improve the service — legitimate interests in a safe, reliable product.
- To meet legal and tax obligations — legal obligation.
- For optional analytics or marketing, where used — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
User input / AI processing
When you use the studio, the prompts you write — your loop descriptions, tags, signal lists, interlocks — together with any example data or files you upload are your inputs. The documents, I/O lists, tag registers and diagram selections we return are your outputs.
How your prompts, uploads and other inputs are processed:
- Your prompts and uploaded example data are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which generates your document and selects a matched illustrative diagram, then returns the result to you.
- Where an external AI processor is used to produce text or imagery, only the specific prompt content needed for that generation is transmitted, under contractual confidentiality, and processed solely on our instruction to fulfil your request.
- We do not use your inputs (including prompts and uploads) or your outputs to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model, and we instruct our processors not to train their models on your content.
- Prompts, uploaded files and generated outputs are retained to provide your account history and exports, and are deleted when you delete your account or on request, subject only to short operational backups (see Retention).
You are responsible for the accuracy and confidentiality of the data you enter. Do not upload classified, secret or export-controlled third-party drawings or data without authorisation.
Payment provider boundary
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by the payment provider on their PCI-DSS compliant systems. Loopdraft does not receive, see or store your full card number, CVC or full card data. We receive only limited confirmation and billing metadata needed to manage your subscription.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
- Account & subscription data — for the life of your account and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting duties.
- Tool inputs & generated outputs — kept to provide your history and exports; deleted on account deletion or on request, subject to short operational backups.
- Support & enquiry messages — typically up to 24 months.
- Essential logs — a limited period for security and reliability.
How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.
Your rights (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access a copy of your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- erase your data;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- for California residents: know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@faskinconvtrol.shop. We respond within the timescales required by law.
Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out and update this policy first.
Automated decisions and children
Loopdraft generates draft documentation from your inputs; it does not make legal or similarly significant automated decisions about you. The service is not intended for children under 13, and users aged 13–17 require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
